Quick Consumables Question. - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering if there is a consumable that can be bought that functions like a Honeycomb for DP buff.

I purchased some Powerstones of Courage but they are a bit expensive, wicked powerful, and really cool, but still pretty steep; and I had a try at Farming some Oozes to trade for Jellies, but thats never going to be worth the investment in time,

Hopefully Im just Ignorant, but I can't seem to find anything like a Honeycomb or Jellie that can be bought from one of the Traders. And Yes I know I can stand around in LA and post shout outs, thats just not me, I never do that, so thats no solution.

BTW: if your running under a boosted XP scroll, does the Bonus xp count towards your DP reduction, or is that calcualted first off the raw figure?

Rainbow candy canes have the same effect as honey combs...

AFAIK these are the only 2 items that remove DP from whole team.

Buy honeycombs and pumpkin cookies from other players. DP removal is based on exp you gain regardless of the source.

I would say the best invested to amass a decent amout of dp removers is this http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Secre...of_the_Snowmen each run can be done in less then 10mins Hardmode this is what you can receive from the end chest too http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Chest_of_Wintersday_Past but alas if this is not for you always farm pre nick for honey combs but that requires more of an investment and either another acc to mule them out or a trusted friend who can mule them out of pre

The fastest and easiest way would be to buy them from players. Except you'd be better off in Kamadan instead of LA. I didn't like standing around with trade ads and dealing with player to player trading either, when I first started, but it's a very valuable resource once you get used to it. I highly urge you to try.

Because farming yourself will be a pain.

Loopysnoopy gave a good suggestion with Secret Lair of the Snowmen (hopefully you've gathered all the map pieces to get in). I also was going to suggest daily farming for Nick in Pre. Don't forget Nick in post, too!

As a last resort you could try farming Stone Grawl Necklaces in Sacnoth Valley -- 8 for one honeycomb. Though I personally don't think the conversion rate is worth it.

One last thing: Though it only benefits you (your heroes would be out in the cold), you might consider the skill Asuran Scan.

TY will Definately look at the snowmen: I do have the Asuran Skill but dont have room in my build - haven't we all wished for 9 spaces at least once LOL; still for some mish, will have to adjust; thanks Much appreciated bb.

Also, it might be unreleated but nontheless...You can also get alcohol from secret lair of snowman, and make sure you take the buff at the start of the dungeon, so you get dwarf rep points (unless you already maxed the delver title), if you do it in HM (which is just as easy and fast as NM) you will get ~2k dwarf points with the buff from droknar's beacon.

It is also a good way to farm event items if you don't have a sin to farm vaettir with
